Family History

Irving Ratner (Steven's grandfather) started Lamtron Industries in 1955 in Miami, Florida. Lamtron Industries manufactured hotel and restaurants millwork, case goods and seating. After retiring in 1973,  Michael Ratner (Steven's father) started R Industries to continue the family tradition of quality custom furniture and case goods for the commercial world. It was natural then that Steven Ratner started at a very young age as shown in the picture and has kept the family tradition for quality services for over 65 years now!
